How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Love's Great Adventure' by Ultravox

Creating a superb, Studio Quality, Professional Sound-a-like Karaoke, Playback, Backing Track is truly a musical challenge.

 

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Ultravox tracks to try and understand what made Ultravox tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Ultravox's music. We then listened to the song 'Love's Great Adventure' byUltravox, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Love's Great Adventure'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Love's Great Adventure' by Ultravox. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Love's Great Adventure' by Ultravox, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Ultravox track 'Love's Great Adventure'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Ultravox, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Love's Great Adventure', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Ultravox song ' Love's Great Adventure'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
