How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Love Me Do' by The Beatles

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Beatles tracks to try and understand what made The Beatles tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with The Beatles's music. We then listened to the song 'Love Me Do' byThe Beatles, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Love Me Do'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Love Me Do' by The Beatles. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Love Me Do' by The Beatles, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original The Beatles track 'Love Me Do'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to The Beatles, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Love Me Do', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Beatles song ' Love Me Do'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
