How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Love Of My Life' by Queen

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Queen tracks to try and understand what made Queen tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Queen's music. We then listened to the song 'Love Of My Life' byQueen, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Love Of My Life'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Love Of My Life' by Queen. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Love Of My Life' by Queen, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Queen track 'Love Of My Life'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Queen, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Love Of My Life', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Queen song ' Love Of My Life'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
