How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Make It With You' by Bread

Creating a superb, Studio Quality, Professional Sound-a-like Karaoke, Playback, Backing Track is truly a musical challenge.

 

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Bread tracks to try and understand what made Bread tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Bread's music. We then listened to the song 'Make It With You' byBread, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Make It With You'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Make It With You' by Bread. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Make It With You' by Bread, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Bread track 'Make It With You'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Bread, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Make It With You', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Bread song ' Make It With You'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
