In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many David Naughton tracks to try and understand what made David Naughton tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with David Naughton's music. We then listened to the song 'Making It' byDavid Naughton, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Making It'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Making It' by David Naughton. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Making It' by David Naughton, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original David Naughton track 'Making It'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to David Naughton, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Making It', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The David Naughton song ' Making It'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG).
