In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Bucks Fizz tracks to try and understand what made Bucks Fizz tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Bucks Fizz's music. We then listened to the song 'Making Your Mind Up' byBucks Fizz, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Making Your Mind Up'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Making Your Mind Up' by Bucks Fizz. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Making Your Mind Up' by Bucks Fizz, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Bucks Fizz track 'Making Your Mind Up'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Bucks Fizz, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Making Your Mind Up', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Bucks Fizz song ' Making Your Mind Up'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
