How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Miss You' by The Rolling Stones

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Rolling Stones tracks to try and understand what made The Rolling Stones tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with The Rolling Stones's music. We then listened to the song 'Miss You' byThe Rolling Stones, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Miss You'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Miss You' by The Rolling Stones. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Miss You' by The Rolling Stones, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original The Rolling Stones track 'Miss You'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to The Rolling Stones, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Miss You', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Rolling Stones song ' Miss You'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
