How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Mr. Tambourine Man' by The Byrds

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Byrds tracks to try and understand what made The Byrds tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with The Byrds's music. We then listened to the song 'Mr. Tambourine Man' byThe Byrds, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Mr. Tambourine Man'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Mr. Tambourine Man' by The Byrds. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Mr. Tambourine Man' by The Byrds, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original The Byrds track 'Mr. Tambourine Man'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to The Byrds, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Mr. Tambourine Man', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Byrds song ' Mr. Tambourine Man'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
