How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'No Matter What' by Badfinger

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Badfinger tracks to try and understand what made Badfinger tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Badfinger's music. We then listened to the song 'No Matter What' byBadfinger, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'No Matter What'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'No Matter What' by Badfinger. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'No Matter What' by Badfinger, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Badfinger track 'No Matter What'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Badfinger, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'No Matter What', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Badfinger song ' No Matter What'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
