How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Not That Kind' by Anastacia

Creating a superb, Studio Quality, Professional Sound-a-like Karaoke, Playback, Backing Track is truly a musical challenge.

 

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Anastacia tracks to try and understand what made Anastacia tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Anastacia's music. We then listened to the song 'Not That Kind' byAnastacia, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Not That Kind'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Not That Kind' by Anastacia. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Not That Kind' by Anastacia, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Anastacia track 'Not That Kind'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Anastacia, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Not That Kind', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Anastacia song ' Not That Kind'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
