How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'One Fine Day' by Carole King

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Carole King tracks to try and understand what made Carole King tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Carole King's music. We then listened to the song 'One Fine Day' byCarole King, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'One Fine Day'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'One Fine Day' by Carole King. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'One Fine Day' by Carole King, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Carole King track 'One Fine Day'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Carole King, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'One Fine Day', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Carole King song ' One Fine Day'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
