How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'One Love' by Bob Marley

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Bob Marley tracks to try and understand what made Bob Marley tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Bob Marley's music. We then listened to the song 'One Love' byBob Marley, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'One Love'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'One Love' by Bob Marley. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'One Love' by Bob Marley, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Bob Marley track 'One Love'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Bob Marley, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'One Love', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Bob Marley song ' One Love'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
