How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'One Way Out' by Allman Brothers

Creating a superb, Studio Quality, Professional Sound-a-like Karaoke, Playback, Backing Track is truly a musical challenge.

 

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Allman Brothers tracks to try and understand what made Allman Brothers tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Allman Brothers's music. We then listened to the song 'One Way Out' byAllman Brothers, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'One Way Out'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'One Way Out' by Allman Brothers. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'One Way Out' by Allman Brothers, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Allman Brothers track 'One Way Out'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Allman Brothers, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'One Way Out', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Allman Brothers song ' One Way Out'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
