Creating a superb, Studio Quality, Professional Sound-a-like Karaoke, Playback, Backing Track is truly a musical challenge.

 

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many 911 tracks to try and understand what made 911 tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with 911's music. We then listened to the song 'Private Number' by911, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Private Number'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Private Number' by 911. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Private Number' by 911, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original 911 track 'Private Number'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to 911, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Private Number', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The 911 song ' Private Number'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
