In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Adele tracks to try and understand what made Adele tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Adele's music. We then listened to the song 'Promise This ' byAdele, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Promise This '.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Promise This ' by Adele. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Promise This ' by Adele, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Adele track 'Promise This '.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Adele, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Promise This ', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Adele song ' Promise This '. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG).
