In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many LMFAO tracks to try and understand what made LMFAO tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with LMFAO's music. We then listened to the song 'Sexy And I Know It' byLMFAO, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Sexy And I Know It'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Sexy And I Know It' by LMFAO. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Sexy And I Know It' by LMFAO, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original LMFAO track 'Sexy And I Know It'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to LMFAO, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Sexy And I Know It', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The LMFAO song ' Sexy And I Know It'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
