In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Andy Gibb tracks to try and understand what made Andy Gibb tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Andy Gibb's music. We then listened to the song 'Shadow Dancing' byAndy Gibb, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Shadow Dancing'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Shadow Dancing' by Andy Gibb. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Shadow Dancing' by Andy Gibb, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Andy Gibb track 'Shadow Dancing'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Andy Gibb, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Shadow Dancing', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Andy Gibb song ' Shadow Dancing'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
