How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Shoop Shoop Song' by Cher

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Cher tracks to try and understand what made Cher tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Cher's music. SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Shoop Shoop Song' by Cher. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Shoop Shoop Song' by Cher, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Cher track 'Shoop Shoop Song'.

We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Cher song ' Shoop Shoop Song'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
