How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Silver Lady' by David Soul

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many David Soul tracks to try and understand what made David Soul tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with David Soul's music. We then listened to the song 'Silver Lady' byDavid Soul, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Silver Lady'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Silver Lady' by David Soul. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Silver Lady' by David Soul, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original David Soul track 'Silver Lady'.

We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The David Soul song ' Silver Lady'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
