In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Kenny Rogers tracks to try and understand what made Kenny Rogers tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Kenny Rogers's music. We then listened to the song 'Something's Burning' byKenny Rogers, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Something's Burning'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Something's Burning' by Kenny Rogers. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Something's Burning' by Kenny Rogers, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Kenny Rogers track 'Something's Burning'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Kenny Rogers, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Something's Burning', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Kenny Rogers song ' Something's Burning'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
