How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Stay With Me' by Faces

Creating a superb, Studio Quality, Professional Sound-a-like Karaoke, Playback, Backing Track is truly a musical challenge.

 

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Faces tracks to try and understand what made Faces tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Faces's music. We then listened to the song 'Stay With Me' byFaces, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Stay With Me'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Stay With Me' by Faces. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Stay With Me' by Faces, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Faces track 'Stay With Me'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Faces, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Stay With Me', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Faces song ' Stay With Me'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
