How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Summer of '69' by Bryan Adams

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Bryan Adams tracks to try and understand what made Bryan Adams tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Bryan Adams's music. We then listened to the song 'Summer of '69' byBryan Adams, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Summer of '69'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Summer of '69' by Bryan Adams. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Summer of '69' by Bryan Adams, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Bryan Adams track 'Summer of '69'.

We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Bryan Adams song ' Summer of '69'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
