How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Sunday Girl' by Blondie

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Blondie tracks to try and understand what made Blondie tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Blondie's music. We then listened to the song 'Sunday Girl' byBlondie, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Sunday Girl'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Sunday Girl' by Blondie. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Sunday Girl' by Blondie, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Blondie track 'Sunday Girl'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Blondie, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Sunday Girl', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Blondie song ' Sunday Girl'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
