How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Take A Chance On Me' by JLS

Creating a superb, Studio Quality, Professional Sound-a-like Karaoke, Playback, Backing Track is truly a musical challenge.

 

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many JLS tracks to try and understand what made JLS tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with JLS's music. We then listened to the song 'Take A Chance On Me' byJLS, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Take A Chance On Me'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Take A Chance On Me' by JLS. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Take A Chance On Me' by JLS, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original JLS track 'Take A Chance On Me'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to JLS, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Take A Chance On Me', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The JLS song ' Take A Chance On Me'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
