How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'That's When I'll Stop Loving You' by *NSYNC

Creating a superb, Studio Quality, Professional Sound-a-like Karaoke, Playback, Backing Track is truly a musical challenge.

 

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many *NSYNC tracks to try and understand what made *NSYNC tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with *NSYNC's music. We then listened to the song 'That's When I'll Stop Loving You' by*NSYNC, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'That's When I'll Stop Loving You'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'That's When I'll Stop Loving You' by *NSYNC. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'That's When I'll Stop Loving You' by *NSYNC, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original *NSYNC track 'That's When I'll Stop Loving You'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to *NSYNC, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'That's When I'll Stop Loving You', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The *NSYNC song ' That's When I'll Stop Loving You'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
