How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'The Good Life' by Three Days Grace

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Three Days Grace tracks to try and understand what made Three Days Grace tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Three Days Grace's music. We then listened to the song 'The Good Life' byThree Days Grace, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'The Good Life'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'The Good Life' by Three Days Grace. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'The Good Life' by Three Days Grace, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Three Days Grace track 'The Good Life'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Three Days Grace, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'The Good Life', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Three Days Grace song ' The Good Life'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
