Creating a superb, Studio Quality, Professional Sound-a-like Karaoke, Playback, Backing Track is truly a musical challenge.

 

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Ace Of Base tracks to try and understand what made Ace Of Base tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Ace Of Base's music. We then listened to the song 'The Sign' byAce Of Base, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'The Sign'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'The Sign' by Ace Of Base. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'The Sign' by Ace Of Base, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Ace Of Base track 'The Sign'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Ace Of Base, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'The Sign', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Ace Of Base song ' The Sign'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
