How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'There's Your Trouble' by Dixie Chicks

Creating a superb, Studio Quality, Professional Sound-a-like Karaoke, Playback, Backing Track is truly a musical challenge.

 

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Dixie Chicks tracks to try and understand what made Dixie Chicks tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Dixie Chicks's music. We then listened to the song 'There's Your Trouble' byDixie Chicks, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'There's Your Trouble'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'There's Your Trouble' by Dixie Chicks. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'There's Your Trouble' by Dixie Chicks, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Dixie Chicks track 'There's Your Trouble'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Dixie Chicks, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'There's Your Trouble', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Dixie Chicks song ' There's Your Trouble'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
