How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Tiger Feet' by Mud

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Mud tracks to try and understand what made Mud tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Mud's music. We then listened to the song 'Tiger Feet' byMud, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Tiger Feet'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Tiger Feet' by Mud. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Tiger Feet' by Mud, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Mud track 'Tiger Feet'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Mud, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Tiger Feet', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Mud song ' Tiger Feet'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
