How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Time Of The Season' by The Zombies

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Zombies tracks to try and understand what made The Zombies tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with The Zombies's music. We then listened to the song 'Time Of The Season' byThe Zombies, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Time Of The Season'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Time Of The Season' by The Zombies. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Time Of The Season' by The Zombies, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original The Zombies track 'Time Of The Season'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to The Zombies, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Time Of The Season', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Zombies song ' Time Of The Season'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
