How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Under The Bridge' by All Saints

Creating a superb, Studio Quality, Professional Sound-a-like Karaoke, Playback, Backing Track is truly a musical challenge.

 

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many All Saints tracks to try and understand what made All Saints tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with All Saints's music. We then listened to the song 'Under The Bridge' byAll Saints, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Under The Bridge'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Under The Bridge' by All Saints. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Under The Bridge' by All Saints, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original All Saints track 'Under The Bridge'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to All Saints, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Under The Bridge', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The All Saints song ' Under The Bridge'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
