How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Weather With You' by Crowded House

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Crowded House tracks to try and understand what made Crowded House tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Crowded House's music. We then listened to the song 'Weather With You' byCrowded House, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Weather With You'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Weather With You' by Crowded House. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Weather With You' by Crowded House, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Crowded House track 'Weather With You'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Crowded House, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Weather With You', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Crowded House song ' Weather With You'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
