How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Wind Of Change' by The Scorpions

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Scorpions tracks to try and understand what made The Scorpions tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with The Scorpions's music. We then listened to the song 'Wind Of Change' byThe Scorpions, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Wind Of Change'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Wind Of Change' by The Scorpions. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Wind Of Change' by The Scorpions, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original The Scorpions track 'Wind Of Change'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to The Scorpions, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Wind Of Change', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Scorpions song ' Wind Of Change'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
