In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many U2 tracks to try and understand what made U2 tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with U2's music. We then listened to the song 'With Or Without You' byU2, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'With Or Without You'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'With Or Without You' by U2. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'With Or Without You' by U2, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original U2 track 'With Or Without You'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to U2, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'With Or Without You', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The U2 song ' With Or Without You'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
