How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'Would You Be Happier' by The Corrs

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Corrs tracks to try and understand what made The Corrs tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with The Corrs's music. We then listened to the song 'Would You Be Happier' byThe Corrs, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'Would You Be Happier'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'Would You Be Happier' by The Corrs. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'Would You Be Happier' by The Corrs, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original The Corrs track 'Would You Be Happier'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to The Corrs, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'Would You Be Happier', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Corrs song ' Would You Be Happier'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
