How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'You Could Be Happy' by Snow Patrol

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Snow Patrol tracks to try and understand what made Snow Patrol tracks sound so good! We then listened to the song 'You Could Be Happy' bySnow Patrol, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'You Could Be Happy'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'You Could Be Happy' by Snow Patrol. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'You Could Be Happy' by Snow Patrol, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Snow Patrol track 'You Could Be Happy'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Snow Patrol, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'You Could Be Happy', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Snow Patrol song ' You Could Be Happy'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
