How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'You Make Me Sick' by Pink

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Pink tracks to try and understand what made Pink tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with Pink's music. We then listened to the song 'You Make Me Sick' byPink, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'You Make Me Sick'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'You Make Me Sick' by Pink. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'You Make Me Sick' by Pink, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Pink track 'You Make Me Sick'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Pink, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'You Make Me Sick', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Pink song ' You Make Me Sick'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
