How SingMe.co.uk created a karaoke backing track for 'You To Me Are Everything' by The Real Thing

In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Real Thing tracks to try and understand what made The Real Thing tracks sound so good! We gained an understanding of the musical genre associated with The Real Thing's music. We then listened to the song 'You To Me Are Everything' byThe Real Thing, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'You To Me Are Everything'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'You To Me Are Everything' by The Real Thing. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'You To Me Are Everything' by The Real Thing, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original The Real Thing track 'You To Me Are Everything'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to The Real Thing, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'You To Me Are Everything', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Real Thing song ' You To Me Are Everything'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
