In this instance, the SingMe production team listened to many Pepper & Piano tracks to try and understand what made Pepper & Piano tracks sound so good! We then listened to the song 'You Took My Heart' byPepper & Piano, a number of times to decide whether there were 'live' musicians playing the various parts of 'You Took My Heart'.

 

SingMe producers studied the rhythm section - Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano and Keyboards on 'You Took My Heart' by Pepper & Piano. They also listened out for 'live' strings, orchestra, brass licks and woodwind, such as flute and saxophone.

 

Wherever there were 'live' instruments on 'You Took My Heart' by Pepper & Piano, the SingMe production team used the very best professional session musicians to create an Instrumental, Playback, Karaoke Version Backing Track. We then overdubbed all the orchestral and brass parts until the track sounded very close to the original Pepper & Piano track 'You Took My Heart'.

 

The SingMe team then researched its very best session singers to find singers with voices similar to Pepper & Piano, to sing backing vocals and harmonies on 'You Took My Heart', where needed. We then recorded a singer who was really excellent at sounding like the lead singer or vocalist on The Pepper & Piano song ' You Took My Heart'. This singer created the Vocal Guide (VG). (The Vocal Guide is simply the Backing Track plus the Lead Vocal sung by a professional session singer to sound similar to the original Artist.)
